Home Inspections

Home Inspections For You, LLC’s general home inspection is a comprehensive evaluation of the interior and exterior of the home. The non-invasive inspection is based on the observations of the visible and accessible areas of the structure, its systems, and its components. Following your inspection, you’ll receive a detailed electronic report, complete with photos, that includes any deficiencies I observed on the day of inspection.

What To Expect

1) When you call to schedule an appointment, we’ll go over the process of your home inspection together so you know exactly what to expect. I’ll ask more specific questions about the property and give you the opportunity to ask questions and raise concerns, especially if there are aspects of the property you are concerned about.

2) At your appointment, my comprehensive home inspection will take between an hour and a half and two hours for an average-sized house. Afterwards, I will walk through the property with you to help you understand the inspection results, so you can make the most informed decisions about how to move forward. I’ll also go over basic emergency procedures for your home—how to shut off the water if a pipe breaks, how to turn off the gas, or electricity.

3) No more than 48 hours after your inspection, I will send you a complete report of the inspection results. This comprehensive report includes written descriptions of any and all deficiencies, repairs, and/or replacement items, as well as about 40 color pictures and corresponding descriptions so that you fully understand what was found in the inspection.
